Dilworth was the first streetcar suburb in Charlotte, developed during the 1890’s. The majority of Dilworth is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is extremely well known for the architectural design of the areas buildings and residences. If you’re looking for a “true” neighborhood feel, Dilworth will not disappoint. Things like evening walks to a local restaurant or grocery store, or stopping to chat with a neighbor on their front porch truly gives this area a sense of community.
